3 Idiots

I had expected the film would be good, because I had read "Five Point Someone" and also came to know that "3 Idiots" was based on that.Also i loved Rajkumar Hirani's previous Munnabai films and expected this would also be good, but never expected this film to be so Greaattt !

If you wanted to have a real movie going experience, watch "3 Idiots" in cinema theatre and watch the entire audience erupt in laughter time and again.I saw the whole theatre clap for 2 - 3 scenes and that will give you an idea on what i am trying to say.

Coming back to the film, i do not want to giveaway much of the story but it starts with Farhan (Madhavan) and Raju (Sharman Joshi) going in search of their friend, Rancho(Aamir Khan).Rancho, Farhan and Raju study in the same Engineering college and this story is predominantly about their experiences in the college. Rancho does not believe in the normal method of education and tries to make people understand his unconventional methods, but it does not go down well with Viru Sahastrabudhhe (Boman Irani).

The other character that stands out is that of Omi, and the actor who has done this part has come out with a fabulous performance. The scene in which he does a speech before Viru Sahastrabudhhe (Boman Irani)is hilarious and just too good.The camaraderie between the 3 friends is just too good and we can really identify with them.Kareena has come out with a neat performance. The other stand -out performance is that of Boman Irani and the Director knows how to bring the best out of him.

Rajkumar Hirani has continued with his style of feel- good positive films. He is such a gift to Indian cinema and hope he continues in the same vein. Please watch this film in theatres with your whole family, because i have not seen a cleanfilm as this in quite a while.
